What we collect

Our public pages are served without third-party tracking by default. We collect personal data only when you actively interact with us:

• Calculators store the inputs you submit only for the duration of the request. We do not associate inputs with you unless you create an account or submit a lead.
• Quote requests (name, email, phone, postcode, property details) are forwarded to certified installers operating in your region. The list of installers we share with is shown before you submit.
• Newsletter subscription requires only an email address; you can unsubscribe at any time.

Legal basis (GDPR Art. 6)

• Consent for marketing and newsletter communications.
• Performance of a contract when you request a professional quote we facilitate.
• Legitimate interest for site analytics, fraud prevention and service quality monitoring.

Cookies & analytics

We use a privacy-friendly analytics service that does not set identifying cookies and does not share data with third parties for targeted advertising. Where required by law, we will display a cookie banner before any non-essential cookies are placed.

Data sharing

Lead data is shared only with the installers explicitly listed at submission time. We never sell personal data. Aggregate, non-personal analytics may be shared with research partners or published.

Data retention

• Lead submissions: 24 months, after which we delete or anonymise.
• Newsletter list: until you unsubscribe.
• Server logs: 90 days.

Your rights

Under GDPR you may request access, rectification, deletion, restriction or portability of your personal data, and object to processing. Contact us through the address on the About page; we respond within one month.

International transfers

We host data within the European Economic Area. If you submit data leading to a contact with an installer outside the EEA, that transfer is subject to adequacy decisions or Standard Contractual Clauses where applicable.
